Squid is a novel protein that is high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Like other ocean species, squid contains high amounts of Omega 3, choline, selenium, vitamins B12, 6, and E.
Squid is also high in copper which is an essential nutrient but must be fed in moderation.
For added safety, the squid was frozen for 3+ weeks at below −20°C prior to freeze-drying.

Our freeze-dried treats are naturally preserved by removing moisture, but proper storage is key to maintaining freshness. Shelf life is significantly shortened when moisture, air, or contaminants are introduced.
Unopened: Store sealed bags in a cool, dark, and dry location for up to 2 years.
Opened:
- Room temperature: Up to 1 month
- Refrigerated: Up to 5 months
- Frozen: Up to 1 year
To maximize freshness, keep treats sealed when not in use and avoid introducing moisture or contaminants when handling.

My dog loves these! They're a bit stinky (as you would expect), but honestly not nearly as bad as some squid treats I've bought elsewhere. My dog thinks they're delicious, so they're great for recall jackpots!
