Quail meat is highly nutritious, with high levels of protein, calcium, iron and zinc. Quail also contains vitamins B, D, A, and K.
Quail meat is low in fat content and considered hypoallergenic. Oftentimes, pets that are allergic to poultry can still eat quail, making it an excellent alternative!
The ruffage (feathers) and intestinal contents provide fiber which supports gut health. The inclusion of all internal organs, glands, and blood provides a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals.
These medallions are ideal for those who don't want to handle whole prey but still want to reap the health benefits of ruffage for their pets. Or they are just great for those who want to feed quail on the go!
